About Kristen
Kristen J. Wilson is a Legacy and Estate Planning Attorney, licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia. With a deep passion for helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of estate planning, Kristen brings a unique background and diverse skill set to her practice.
Born and raised in the vibrant city of Detroit, and a proud alumna of “The Mecca” (Howard University), Kristen's journey into the legal profession was shaped by her early experiences in the entertainment industry. It was there that she developed a keen understanding of the challenges faced by newly successful entrepreneurs. Eager to expand her knowledge and further refine her legal skills, she pursued her legal education at Georgetown Law. While at Georgetown, Kristen excelled in her studies, earning her Juris Doctor degree, as well as a Master of Laws in Taxation and a Certificate in Estate Planning.
Dedicated to providing a fresh perspective on estate planning, Kristen's approach transcends the traditional focus on death and probate. She strives to create an estate planning experience that is positive, forward-thinking, and design-centered. Kristen believes in the power of creativity and imagination when crafting an estate plan, and she works diligently to ensure that her clients' legacies reflect their unique aspirations and values.
Beyond her professional life, Kristen enjoys engaging in a variety of enriching activities. She studies the teachings of Christ, practices her Japanese language skills, and enjoys watching Anime. If she's fortunate, she manages to do all three simultaneously.
